Terms & Conditions
1. General Terms
1.1 By booking a 1-2-1 football session with EF Soccer Academy, the participant (or their parent/guardian if under 18) agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
1.2 All participants must be in good health and physically capable of engaging in football training. Any medical conditions must be disclosed before booking a session.
1.3 EF Soccer Academy reserves the right to refuse or terminate a booking if a participant is deemed unfit to train or breaches these terms.
1.4 Participants must be dropped off at sessions and picked up by a parent/guardian. EF Soccer Academy is not responsible for the supervision of participants outside of their scheduled session time.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 All sessions must be booked in advance via the official booking system.
2.2 Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure a session.
3. Cancellation, Late Arrivals and Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellations made by the participant must be communicated at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to be eligible for a rescheduled session. No refunds will be provided.
3.2 Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the session being forfeited without a refund or reschedule.
3.3 If a participant arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time, and no extra time will be given.
3.4 If a participant is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be cancelled at the coach’s discretion, and it will be considered forfeited without a refund.
3.5 In the event EF Soccer Academy needs to cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., adverse weather, coach illness/unavailability), participants will be offered either a rescheduled session or a full refund. EF Soccer Academy will notify participants as soon as possible in the event of a cancellation.
3.6 Refunds for academy-initiated cancellations will be processed within 7 working days.
4. Health and Safety
4.1 Participants must wear appropriate football attire, including suitable footwear and a rain jacket.
4.2 EF Soccer Academy is not responsible for any injuries sustained during training. However, first aid assistance will be provided if necessary.
4.3 In the event of an accident, EF Soccer Academy staff will take appropriate action, including administering first aid and contacting emergency services if required.
4.4 Parents/guardians must ensure that participants are dropped off promptly prior to the session and collected promptly at the end of their session.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 All participants must behave respectfully towards coaches. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the session without a refund.
5.2 EF Soccer Academy has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct.
6. Standard of Practice
6.1 EF Soccer Academy have completed the following qualifications:
· BscH Sport & Fitness & HND Sport Coaching & Development
· SFA Level 1.1
· UKCC - Safeguarding & Protecting Children
· SFA – Mental Health in Scottish Football
· SFA – Children’s Wellbeing in Scottish Football
6.2 EF Soccer Academy holds the relevant enhanced PVG Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously CRB). These documents are available for review upon request.
6.3 EF Soccer Academy is fully insured through Sports Coach UK. Proof of insurance can also be provided upon request.
7. Liability
7.1 EF Soccer Academy are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury occurring before, during, or after the session, except in cases of negligence.
7.2 Personal belongings are the responsibility of the participant. EF Soccer Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
7.3 In the event of an accident, EF Soccer Academy staff will take appropriate action, including administering first aid and contacting emergency services if required. However, EF Soccer Academy is not liable for any medical costs incurred.
8. Media and Photography
8.1 EF Soccer Academy may take photos or videos during sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please add it into the additional notes in your participant profile.
9. Data Protection
9.1 We process and hold all personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal information provided at the time of booking will be stored securely and used only for the purposes of administering sessions and contacting participants regarding training.
